About Us - Diamond Community Living

18 Years of Believing in Potential

We didn't build Diamond to be the loudest agency in Georgia.

We built it to be the one people trust with the hardest calls — the child who needs somewhere safe tonight, the parent keeping
a disabled adult child connected to their community, the daughter three states away making sure her father is safe at home.

Our Story

Senectra Sanyaolu founded Diamond Community Living because she saw a gap: people with developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, and complex medical needs were being managed, not transformed. They were surviving, not thriving. She built Diamond on one belief: every person, no matter how complex their needs, has potential they haven't reached yet. And the right environment, the right people, and the right support can unlock that. 18 years later, hundreds of individuals and families would agree.

Our Philosophy

Person-Centered, Not System-Centered

We don't fit people into programs. We build programs around people. What does this person need? What are they interested in? What would help them feel capable and connected? That drives everything we do.

Radical Transformation, Not Just Management

Behavior isn't random. Medical complexity isn't a box to check. We dig deeper. We ask why. We bring in behavioral specialists, medical professionals, and people who genuinely care. And we work toward real change — not control, but growth.

Community Integration, Not Isolation

Living in a group home doesn't mean isolation. It means belonging to community. Our day programs aren't happening at a center; they're happening in the community. Parks, restaurants, volunteer opportunities, friendships, participation. That's integration.

Self-Sufficiency as the Goal

We're not building dependency. We're building toward independence — not perfect independence (that's not realistic for everyone), but real independence and capability. Shopping on their own. Managing money. Making decisions. Having a say in their life.

Let’s talk about your family’s needs. One conversation will show you why Diamond is different.

What Our Clients Says

"My mom went through three different home care agencies before Diamond — new caregivers every few months, and I was re-explaining her routine each time. She's had the same caregiver for over a year now, and when her needs changed last spring, we didn't have to start over. One phone call, and they already had her file."

Mark John -
CEO Falcon

"I refer to a lot of agencies, and most of them go quiet after intake. Diamond is the only one that sends me a same-day note once a client actually starts care, and their documentation is the only file I don't have to chase before a court date. That's the difference between an agency I use once and one I keep coming back to."

Real People. Real Experience. Real Change.

Led by Executive Director Senectra Sanyaolu, our team includes behavioral specialists, developmental disability professionals, registered nurses, and trained care staff. Everyone here came because they believe in the mission, not just the paycheck.

We specialize in the cases others decline. That's not easy. It's rewarding.

Safe, consistent care for every Georgia family, without rebuilding trust when needs change.
